The acquisition of GEDEC, an Italian company specializing in the design of electronic systems and integrated circuits, with offices in Genoa and Turin, has been successfully concluded.
The deal is part of the growth strategy launched in 2022 with the support of Xenon Private Equity, which aims to make Microtest the reference point in Europe for chip design, ATE production and microchip and silicon wafer testing service. Gedec’s is the second acquisition this year, following the annexation of Dutch Test Inspire to the group last May.
